  1. If you didn't set passwords when you set up the Server initially, you can do so at any point afterward. Password protection ensures that only you can make changes to the Server setup, and lets you be selective about who can create Public Categories on the Server.

  3. To set passwords for the Server:
  4. 1. Click the Configure Server button in the Server status window Toolbar, or choose "Setup…" from the Server menu. The Server Configuration dialog box appears.

  6. 2. Type a password in the "Admin Password:" field. This password allows you to restrict access to the Public Contact Server application; you must enter it to be able to change Server settings.

  8. 3. Type a password in the "Create Password:" field. This password must be entered in order to create Public Categories on the Server.
